雅思寫作不宜出現的詞彙！

小編三不五時會整理出考雅思時必備的單字或加分詞彙與大家分享，考試的時候有加分的單字或詞彙，自然也就會有應盡量避免的。今天小編就整理了一些雅思寫作中不宜出現的詞彙，大家若是能在平常練習時就盡量避免，考試時的文章自然就會更加亮眼。一起加油吧！

1. a lot of/lots of

這對片語較口語化，一般不建議用在雅思寫作中。可以用A considerable number of來代替。

例如（應避免的）：There are a lot of books in the library.

改成：There are a considerable number of books in the library.

2. Recently

這個詞too imprecise，也就是不夠具體。可以用 in the last five years…/since…代替。

例如（應避免的）：Recently， many foreigners came to Taiwan.

改成：In the last five years， many foreigners came to Taiwan.

3. There is a survey……

看到這個詞彙，考官心裡應該會問: Has there been? You should only say this if you actually know of one，除非你能具體的提出式什麼調查，不然對考官而言你就是在瞎掰，最好不要用。

例如（應避免的）：There is a survey on this problem.

4. And， because， but

這三個詞我們還是經常會用到，是很多人的雅思寫作詞彙常備。其實最好用in addition， therefore， however等代替。

例如（應避免的）：And three students come from Taipei.

改成：In addition，three students come from Taipei

5. No one can deny that…/Undoubtedly

這2個片語太過絕對，雅思考試問的是你的看法，而看法不是那麼絕對的，任何人都可以持有與你相反的看法，應盡量避免用這兩個詞為句子的開頭。

例如（應避免的）：Undoubtedly， everyone knows it is true.

6. In my opinion， I agree/disagree with this

這是多餘的表達。When stating your opinion you follow with a fact，表達意見時，你要能提出證實或解釋，不然就是多餘的。

例如（應避免的）：In my opinion， we should do this job at once.

7. Nowadays

這個詞如同Recently，太口語化了，不適合用在寫作上。考官的回應是it does not mean very much，建議考生們增加自己得詞彙，用更具體的方式來形容。

例如（應避免的）：Nowadays， more and more students go abroad to seek better education.

8. 不能用vivid 來形容world，vivid可以用來說memories或者是dream之類的。

9. It is a well known fact…最好不要用， 過度口語化也過度絕對。有的考官可能會扣分。

10. very不能用來形容delicious， lovely， fantastic， wonderful， amazing， gorgeous and huge。若不確定，避免用very，至於very該怎麼用才好，可以參考之前的分享 :  你真的知道Very這個單字嗎?

11. 雅思文章中千萬不能用縮寫， 例如（應避免的）I'm或don’t，在考試時千萬別懶惰用縮寫，平常練習時最好也別用縮寫，這種較casual的用法，在寫作時是不適合的，請多加注意，養成良好的習慣。
